Pieces of Our Lives is an intimate concert series which combines art and music for an elegant evening event to benefit a charity or a cause. The latest Pieces of Our Lives Tour featured Grammy award-winning singer and songwriter, Amy Grant. Amy performed in 10 unique and intimate venues across the US to benefit Compassion International, the world’s largest Christian child development organization that works to permanently release children from poverty.
Each evening opened with an inspring Art Gallery which showcased paintings from artists located throughout the US. The art reflected themes from Amy Grant’s signature songs and all the items were auctioned off after the tour ended with the net proceeds going to Compassion International. Amy donated framed handwritten lyrics to the gallery as well as displayed some of her own art work.
Limited to 300 guests, each event was a unique experience for both Amy Grant and the audience. “The Pieces of Our Lives Tour was a rare opportunity for me to hear the stories of fans and guests in a relaxed environment”, said Amy. “After visiting with everyone in the Art Gallery, every night on stage, I felt like all the faces in the crowd were familiar. It felt like every aspect of the evening was shared between me and the guests”.
